What time does Plaistow Old Home Day start?

Plaistow Old Home Day starts as early as 7:00 a.m. with Vendors setting up and complimentry coffee and donuts! Old Home Day concludes late afternoon We suggest you stick around for more entertainment AFTER THE PARADE!

Where do I park?

We ask that all attendees park in the lot next to the railroad tracks. There will be no available parking at Pollard School or any of the surrounding roads. Police will take notice.

What's going on in the Gazebo?

The Gazebo is the hub of Old Home Day. This is where you pre-register for events, get a schedule and map, find out winners, and MORE! We suggest letting people in your party know to go here in case they get lost. There will always be a committee member in the Gazebo.

What if it rains?

Old Home Day has and will always be rain or shine. The parade will also be rain or shine unless thunder and lightning. In that case, delay or cancellation of the parade may occur. Fireworks are cancelled at discretion of the Town Manager and Fire Department. 

How much does it cost?

Old Home Day does not charge for admission, contest entries, inflatables, trackless train, Car Show, parking or entertainment.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no pets on the town green
